Bridgepoint Merchant Banking (“Bridgepoint”) is proud to announce three new hires in the Des Moines office. Matt Westra and Josh Dorle have joined as an Associate and an Analyst Intern, respectively. Taylor Zant joined the team as a Marketing and Communications Specialist. Mr. Westra and Mr. Dorle will support the firm in its expanding principal investing activities, as well as its mergers and acquisitions and capital raise transactions, while Ms. Zant will contribute to the development and coordination of companywide marketing initiatives.
Mr. Westra joins the firm after working in Goldman Sach’s Investment Banking Division in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of South Dakota, where he received both his Bachelors in Finance and his MBA. Mr. Westra was active in the university’s Financial Management Association and Coyote Capital Management. Mr. Westra is originally from Rock Valley, Iowa.
Mr. Dorle joins the firm while completing his Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, where he is a sophomore studying Finance at the Ivy College of Business. Mr. Dorle is very involved in the university, serving as a sector leader in the Iowa State Investment Group and using his certification in Adventis Financial Modeling to assistant teach. Mr. Dorle is originally from Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
Ms. Zant is a recent graduate from Drake University, where she played for the women’s volleyball team and received her Bachelors degree in Marketing and International Business. Before joining Bridgepoint, Ms. Zant held various marketing positions in Iowa, California and the Czech Republic. Ms. Zant is originally from Libertyville, Illinois.
